These terms apply to the free scanner-lite Marketplace package unless a separate written agreement applies.
Purpose
The scanner is provided for diagnostic evaluation of AI/BI readiness signals in a Databricks environment. It produces candidate findings that require customer review.
Customer Responsibilities
- Run the scanner only in workspaces where you are authorized to do so.
- Review findings before relying on them for business, audit, governance, or technical decisions.
- Use least-privilege permissions and a customer-owned output schema.
- Do not submit sensitive customer telemetry through public support channels.
No Production Remediation
The scanner-lite package is read-only against operational metadata and does not perform production remediation. Any changes to Databricks resources, dashboards, jobs, policies, tables, or workflows must be reviewed and executed by authorized customer personnel.
No Professional Opinion
Scanner output is not a final audit opinion, legal opinion, compliance certification, financial attestation, or substitute for professional judgment. It is an evidence collection and prioritization aid.
